A local, owner-operated grounds-maintenance business
Kanga Gardening is run from Edithvale by its owner, Tim Le Grand, who is on site doing the work himself, not a call-centre dispatching a different crew each week. The business focuses on recurring maintenance for the properties that need reliability, presentation and the right equipment: body corporate and strata complexes, commercial and industrial sites, acreage and lifestyle properties, and office plant displays.
The idea behind Kanga is simple. Most managers and property owners don't want to think about the grounds at all. They want one reliable contractor who turns up, keeps everything presentable, and doesn't create complaints, surprise invoices or admin. So that's how the business runs: a fixed monthly fee, a schedule that suits the site, green-waste removal included, and seasonal condition reporting.

Experience built on the sites Tim maintains
Tim Le Grand founded Kanga Gardening in 2020 and remains the owner-operator on site. He personally assesses and quotes recurring work, carries out the service and reports back to the person responsible for the property. His current experience spans body corporate and strata complexes, commercial and industrial sites, large coastal properties and indoor workplace collections. Kanga is a member of Sustainable Gardening Australia’s Green Gardening Professionals program, a commitment to the soil-first, low-input practices that run through every site program.
His site records cover turf care, pruning, irrigation adjustments, pest and disease monitoring, indoor plant care, pond maintenance and seasonal condition reporting. Tim is based in Edithvale and services south-east Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and the Pakenham corridor.
Kanga Gardening carries $20 million Public and Products Liability insurance, and Tim holds a current Working with Children Check, National Police Check and White Card. SWMS documentation is available where required.
Recurring maintenance, held to one standard
Kanga works on recurring programs rather than one-off jobs, because that's what keeps a site consistently presentable and lets the same operator get to know it. Every property is on a set schedule that suits it, with green waste removed each visit and disposed of responsibly, and seasonal condition reports so managers and committees always have a record.
Because one person quotes the work, does the work and stands behind it, accountability doesn't get diluted across a rotating crew. If something's not right, you deal directly with the owner and it gets fixed.

The local businesses behind the work
Every product on a Kanga round comes from a supplier we genuinely buy from, most of them within twenty minutes of base. Supporting the local trade network is part of how the business runs.
