Stabilising a 188-plant workplace collection without leaving displays empty
A Cranbourne West office and warehouse has 188 indoor plants across cabinet-top pots, individual offices, floor displays, the lobby and warehouse. During 2026, mealybug spread through several densely planted desk rows despite initial treatment attempts. Tim mapped the collection by zone, isolated affected plants off site and installed full-grown, like-for-like replacements so the workplace presentation could continue while the original stock recovered.
The ongoing program combines species-specific watering, drainage checks, rotation for even growth, health monitoring and backup stock. By the 2025-26 seasonal report, the indoor collection was healthy and stable. The integrated visit also covered the property's exterior landscaping and restored pond.
